How To Mend Greenware and Bisque Pottery
I have used a variety of fixes for cracks or holes in greenware or bisque pottery. This is my current solution.
I take 3 sheets of cheap toilet paper ( it has more wood pulp) and tear it into little pieces.
I add 1/4 cup of dry clay crumbles ( the same clay you are repairing).
I cover this mixture with Magic Water. ( recipe from Lana Wilson) Let it sit overnight.
Make a paste and keep filling the crack or hole until you can’t see it. You can sand this when it dries.
This is the recipe for Magic Water in one quart of water.
