All functional pottery I produce is food, microwave, and dishwasher safe unless otherwise stated.  I suggest heating functional pottery with warm water before introducing it to any extreme temperature change to avoid breaking the piece.

Unfortunately, at this time I don’t take custom orders.  Since it is just me in the studio, managing all aspects of the pottery business, my focus is prepping pottery for each website launch.  I will do my best to keep customers informed about upcoming launches via Instagram, @justfiredpottery and my email newsletter.  Click here to sign up.

Although I do my best to ensure every piece of pottery arrives safely, if an item is damaged in transit, our packages are insured, so you can file a claim with USPS to get a refund for your item.  To file a claim, take a photo of the broken item with the packaging, a photo of the shipping label, tracking number, and order confirmation. 

Go to https://www.usps.com/help/claims.htm to initiate the refund with USPS.  Please retain any broken pottery until the USPS claim is processed. 

At this time, I am shipping to US and Canada.  Buyers are responsible for any custom fees and taxes.  Once an item has shipped from my site, it is managed by USPS.  If your package is lost, stolen, or delayed, please contact your local US post office for assistance.

Items sell quickly!  Some suggestions for successful purchases.

  • Establish an account on the website with your shipping and credit card information ahead of time for a speedy checkout.
  • Follow my website, checking often for updates. Make sure to refresh the page.
  • Shopping carts do not hold items for you. Your best bet is to fill your cart with the items you would like to purchase and proceed to checkout.
